Gynaecological Cancers

Breast cancer is without doubt the cancer that most affects women.

But we mustn't forget the other genital cancers in women – cancer of the ovaries, the vulva, the endometrium and the cervix – which have become less frequent as a result of regular screening.

Every cancer has its own special characteristics and requires a multidisciplinary approach. As with breast cancer, all cases are presented to the oncology staff at the Clinique Bohler, where gynaecologists, oncologists, radiologists, radiotherapists and histopathologists draw up the best treatment plan for each patient. They also work closely with digestive surgeons and dermatologists from the Hôpital Kirchberg if necessary.

This global approach gives patients the best possible chance of a cure.
